Most important aspect of a bass to you?

I agree set up first. But, I cannot play a bass if the neck isn't comfortable. It makes or breaks the entire experience for me.

    Bass Cabs Ohm Question

Ohms are the measurement of resistance or load. The amp will not know has many speakers but it will recognize what load you are putting on it. The ~2ohms you are wanting to put to your amp could cause you to fry something. Proceed with caution, I think we all recommend not proceeding with an 8/4...

    Thumb "issue"

I find that the amount of pressure I apply is directly influenced by the shape of the neck. Gibson type necks wear me out while playing fender or ibanez seems to flow much better and require less effort... to me.. I dunno maybe I'm just "challenged"

    SWR Fan Club II

I bought it used that way. All this gear was made 1997 and back. the guy who had it before me took all the badging off and then lost them over the years. I honestly don't mind, was thinking about taking the workingmans badge off as well and ordering a black grill (or painting the existing) for...

    SWR Fan Club II

Well here is my swr bass 750 and my swr wm410t and giii. Not the best pic but I snapped a photo while loading up the drums....

    SWR Fan Club II

I am definitely happy with the entire set-up. I played the workingman's 410 through a Behringer BX3000T, which, the cab was OK with that but I finally got rid of that amp and picked up a Backline600. That sounded pretty good through the WM cab. But about a month ago I got that Bass750 and...

    SWR Fan Club II

Ah!!! A fan club!!! LOL I have finally made some progress into getting my first SWR rig almost fully together. Running a SWR Bass 750 through a Workingman's 410T(for now) and a Goliath III. I really would like for the WM410T to be a GIII but, in due time... in due time. Anyways, can I get an...

Acoustic B30 30 Watt Bass Amp

Hey guys, I just wanted to post my review of this little amp. I purchased this last night after playing it at Guitar Center. I sat down in front of this thing thinking I was going to be disappointed but I must say, it has a great sound. It doesn't have a lot of options in the way of EQ but I...

    Spector Performer 4 DLX

Ah yeah. I was doing a little spector research earlier and ran across this model.. Good reviews on it from what I have seen so far. I should probably just save up a little and get one like this. Though, I dunno... perhaps you are correct in that, if I don't really like it, I can just sell it...

    Spector Performer 4 DLX

I apologize. I didn't mean to give it a "stigmata". I am usually just afraid of playing things like Squire, Epiphone, etc. Because, from my experience, tho each sub brand here makes a good instrument, these instruments are typically sub-par (tonally, fret and board quality, electronics...

    Spector Performer 4 DLX

I guess my question is: Not only is the price good but is the bass worth owning as it seems to be spectors low end.

    Spector Performer 4 DLX

I ran across an ad on Craigslist for a spector performer 4 dlx. The guy is wanting $200 for it used with missing knobs and etc. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] Is this guitar worth what he's asking? I don't feel that it is as it seems to be Spector's lowest line of bass, in which case...

    Official ATK Club (Part 3)

I agree. Actually, the only other guitar I really like in ALL WHITE is an American Strat... but that is for a different forum. ..uh... GO ATK!!!

    Official ATK Club (Part 3)

yeah, was looking at that earlier. Price is too steep for me at the moment. I got my other ATK for such a low price I am constantly looking for ATK's that might need a little work done to them. Or any good bass for that matter. DFW Clist is a pain sometimes.
