Hope this is in the right place,as some of you may know i bought an Ibanez Soundgear SR 300 EB,i am happy overall with it except i have a small problem with the A String,It's making a Twangy,Metallic type noise which only happens when i fret the string on the No 1 Tab or would that be the B...

So can anyone recommend a decent tuner then.

Thank you for all the replies,i did actually give up on the Roberts tuner and went on an online bass guitar tuner and by playing around a bit i did manage to get the A String tuned correctly,may as well throw the tuner in the bin..lol
