Eastwood EUB and looking for a neck

I was unaware of that rule actually...can you tell I don't do this often? Eagerly awaiting your message :)

Eastwood EUB and looking for a neck

Completely understandable, actually Bruce all things considered, what is the current wait time on one of your AMUB-2s? This Eastwood was just a deal that popped up from a friend. Owning one of yours is something I am willing to pay for :) Is the pricing information on your website still correct...

Eastwood EUB and looking for a neck

Nice basses! As I said I have terrible woodworking skills and don't trust myself to not mess up my bass, However using a premade scroll isn't a bad idea. Thanks for the input!

Eastwood EUB and looking for a neck

Hey all, been quite some time since I've been on TB but its good to be back. Since I've been gone I acquired an EUB from Eastwood (Being a bit of a Danko fanboy) and love it. However, does anybody know of a luthier who could make me a neck for it that has the traditional scroll? I'm a pretty...

    Guitar Fetish now selling basses!

Thinking of pulling the trigger on a surf green P-bass from them...if I can fight of my GAS for an EUB first...if I like the P-bass I might spring for a Jazz as well. Will give pics and an update when that happens. :)

    Playing upright...

I actually mentioned the Takamine. It would be perfect but the price is just too much for me. I basically need a very small portable acoustic upright bass or a way to make an acoustic bass guitar upright. The latter being the mos affordable option I am sure

    Playing upright...

It also does not help that the stand has to be screwed into a rout IN the bass...not the strap pin or anything like that.

    Playing upright...

The main issue is space and some of our songs need a full acoustic sound. I'm perfectly fine with using my acoustic bass guitar but there's just the OCD-esque feeling that it should be upright xD I've seen models that have endpins, a takamine and a Paul Beard Resonator Bass but both are very...

    Playing upright...

Not quite...I mean vertical like an upright bass and not strapped to my body.

    Playing upright...

Hello TB'ers. I've been playing the EUB and double bass for some time now and have gotten used to playing in an upright style. I still play electric in the traditional style but any hollow body or acoustic bass guitar feels odd not held upright. My questions to you guys... 1. Am I the only...

Third Stone Solo Version (Jaco Pastorius) Request

If anyone knows the full Third Stone solo that Jaco played live I would appreciate any help I can for learning it. The improvising and the looping is easy enough for me but once he gets to the actual Third Stone part where he uses chords up high on the neck I get lost. I've seen live videos of...

    A cab question.

Thank you very much. :) Also to ther others I appreciate your immediate concern and quick responses. I'm glad to have such a knowledgeable community to talk to about these things. :D

    A cab question.

Thank you. :) Like I said this was new to me. I've heard of 2 amps being used on one cab through use of outside equipment like a DI or something like that (Can't think of the name) But not through the use of 2 inputs. At least not for bass anyways.

    A cab question.

I have minor experience with speaker cabinets so if this is a stupid question please disregard. While looking at random cabs I came a across a 2x15 that had two inputs in the back. Would I be able to run two amps into the cab? If so, are there any precautions I should follow? This is the first...

    Guitar Fetish now selling basses!

Sadly I don't. I only want to make the sunburst one fretless (Ala Jaco) So that I have a fretless to noodle around on, record occasionally and play Malignant Narcissism by rush but still keep that Jazz bass growl. All in due time though. Hope everyone likes their Xaviere's!
