    New Band Red Flag

I’m going to make this as simple as I can for you- 1) If you don’t mesh with the drummer, you have no rhythm section. 2) If you have no rhythm section, you have no band. Time for you to leave. Period. End of story.

Why did I waste so much time being a pro musician?

At the end of the day, it’s show BUSINESS. Though it’s good to make a living at it-I did for over a decade-but you have to make the right decisions when it comes to YOUR future. Your new job sounds sweet. I’m sure many of us here would love to be in that position. Like you said, now you can...

NBD...I'm kinda pissed...what would you do?

Send it to a pro. Have him/her look at it and fix anything that might be wrong. Chances are it’ll cost about the same as if you sent it back. The neck on the Yamaha is what sold me. One of the nicest feeling/playing necks at its price.✌❤️

As far as practice amps go, in the Fender line, you’d be better off with a Rumble 25 (25w/8”driver). The rest of the line, with the exception of the Stage 800, while adequate, aren’t great sounding, imo. The Rumble 25 is light, and has a good sound for a small speaker-AND it’s only $99.00!

    Struggles being a girl bassist

Let’s be real about this. If you’re worried about what people think because you’re female, you’re getting into the WRONG line of work. I’m African-American, and if I worried about being judged by looks, I’d never have gotten anywhere. My playing has taken me all over the world, and it can for...
