Yeah, the headstock stamp and serial prove it. I believe this is an older model, the newer ones are a little different. I'm pretty sure it's all maple.

Damn, there's some amazing looking basses in this thread!!! I'm just starting to get moderately serious with bass guitar, so I went and found an Ibanez sr506 that I negotiated for $280. Came with a hardcase, strap, and emg's.. Pretty good for the price I must say. I run it through a 200watt...

Just tell them it stopped working and explain whats wrong and pretend not to know much :) ignorance is bliss
