    Fender Rumble Club

Picked this bad boy up last Friday and it's already done a recording session and an outdoor gig. Played it at about 8 o'clock for the outdoor gig (using a sansamp DI) and boy does it live up to its name. I couldn't be happier with it! It's loud, commanding, clear and light. What more could a...

Epiphone EB3 Pickup Upgrade - Wiring Help

Hello everyone, I am upgrading an Epiphone EB3. Pup wise I'm putting in the Dimarzio Model One at the neck position along with a coil tap (via a push/pull DPDT pot) and I am taking one of those TV Jones designed mini-humbuckers out of an old Gretsch Electromatic bass and dropping it at the...

Want to daisy chain without blowing up my rig. Help.

Want to daisy chain without blowing up my rig. Help.

Dual 15" has all the goods. Incredible cab. 1971 Kasino with original CTS speakers. Extra 15" is an aluminum cone Hartke (not my favorite, I sort of inherited it). I think I'll use those 2. The combo amp is an Ampeg BA115, so it's not a guitar amp. I love the tone on that little thing. It...

Want to daisy chain without blowing up my rig. Help.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I will definitely refrain from setting the stage on fire (...and not in a good way). I'll cross my fingers and ask the soundman for a mic'd situation. Just to get this straight: it is ok for me to setup that extra 15" right? It's just the combo amp that would be...

Want to daisy chain without blowing up my rig. Help.

In this day and age volume is primarily a front of house affair since PAs have ridiculous output levels now. But what can I say... I am old fashioned. As such I am very wary of D.I. boxes. Maybe it's a quirk but I really want the audience to hear the actual sound of my speakers. Still, more...
