OK I managed to get Ibanez SR500 TFF from 2015/16 for £300 new! Think that will do me for now and I reckon I could sell used for a similar price when time to upgrade! Think I got a good deal...I hope!

Now the pickup issue has thrown a spanner in the works! The Used 800 or a new 670 with improved pickups..too many choices!

I think the Nordstrand has too much bite for my needs. But I'm intrigued by the difference between the cheaper MK1 Bartonlini and the upgraded BH2 version... Would the BH2 give me something between the MK1 and Nordstrand?

so a over a mint condition SR800 Aged whisky for £500 and new Sr500 Mahogany for £460, best bet is to go for a used Sr500 for £350? !! Not a fan of the Mahogany model because the finish is easily ruined. The SR600 could be an alternative I guess..
