Difference between Ibanez SR800(2016) vs SR500 (2018)

Hi,
I've been reading a lot of useful tips on this forum.
Was almost set on the latest SR500 - mainly due to thin neck, light weight and overall playability and solid sound.

Now I found a mint condition SR800 2016 model for the same price.

Cant seem to spot any major differences although a new one costs 50% more.

Can anyone help please?

As much as I like the mahogany 500 I prefer that glowing burst. I have a Jazz Bass in that style, without plate or pickguard.
