Nice! I like the clear pg. How was it in terms of thickness? Did it fit nice under the little black protection plastic of the truss rod? Where did you order it from?

I liked the sunburst as well, but noticed in many photos online that the top pieces of wood very often had grains very different from each other and that turned me kinda off. Vintage white was the clear winner for me!

Hey, I swapped pickups on my bbp34 after all. Put on the geezers PJ set. Works just fine, the only thing for others to keep in mind is that the cavity depths don't allow for "colder" setups, meaning pickup clearance is about 3mm for P and 2mm for J. The P cannot go much lower meaning that you...

Would it be a crime to swap the whole set with an EMG Geezer Butler PJ, in my BBP34, just because I don't like the hum from the J pickup? :banghead:

I am also thinking of swapping the j only on a bbp34 but hesitate to drop the cash and then having tone matching issues with the stock p which is very good. Anyone already did this with good results?

I measured it, inlays past 12th fret are off by 2mm. Nothing much, to be honest. The bridge is perfectly centered.

I just finished putting on some fresh slinky hybrids, conditioned the fretboard and set it up. The neck is a beast. The truss rod is almost loose and it has the perfect curve. Swapping the stock strings with the heavier slinkies did nothing to it. Very stiff. The dead spots are nothing much...

Another dilemma: with pg or without pg? TBH it would be nice to ship them with pg loose so that you can put it on only if you want. I believe sire do that. I think I prefer with.
