    I bought it from a friend... I asked him why he was selling it and he said that he had several other Tobias basses.

    Has anyone else seen the serial number on the top of a Tobias headstock?

    Koa, maple and wenge... I have never seen a serial number there either. I was told this was made for one of the early Tobias employees.

    Hi all, I just acquired this Tobias Basic II... Made on Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood. Serial #314. Apparently all original. Any info or comment would be appreciated!
