    Strings somewhere between Bronzewound and flats for unplugged ABG

    I have a thunderchief and also apreciate it's unpluged volume- Always used Bronze rounds (Stock set-up) Never considered nickel strings: Are they as loud/warm? Bronze flats! Never heard of such a thing. More knowledge needed. Thanks

    Thanks Jeff, I guess I could have looked this up for myself, but it's nice to here from somebody who owned one. Squier/Lee meets Jaco Kind of thing- Turned me on to a more jazz kind of style.
