Just grabbed a Super redhead based on this thread... was in the air between eden cxc400 1015 or super redhead. Had a eden nemesis 300 head and a 2x12 nemesis cab. Like the cab but the head was alright. had some growl but could get lost in the mix when playing with group. Cant wait to get the SWR...

for the record i was using a True systems precision 8 preamp in line for a bit. i sold it b/c well i got a ton for it and felt i didnt need a $2500 preamp... it sounded fine. no clipping and seemed to push plenty of power to the crown.

Thanks @Laklandfan!!!! i looked a little into the owners manual of the Crown and it says the input sensitivity is 10kohms... The pedal i really want ( ebs micro) has an output of 10 k ohm, based on research my pre-amp pedal should have 1kohm output? guess this wont work... another EBS preamp (...

i'm interested. Currently have a crown power amp and am looking for a rack or pedal to act as a preamp. will this do the trick?
