Hi all -- I'm waiting for a call from an appraiser about this bass I've got - 1962 J Bass. It's in really, really awesome condition. No scratches, and it's not a "Frankenbass" made up of replacement parts... I don't want to go into the story of how I got this bass, I don't even play bass...

LOL I'm serious! It needs to be cleaned, but it's like new. It took me forever to find ONE like it online with no replacement parts - I still can't believe someone would pay 19k for a bass. And that one had scratches and dents. He has a Fender Strat too, 58 or 59 - he can't remember...
