In regards to the functionality of the desktop app I have not had any issues. For further testing the C4s I have now installed the original Source Audio power supplies in order either to verify or rule out any insufficiency of supplied currency. Thanks again for your very helpful input and advice!

Thanks a lot for your thought! I suppose they are getting sufficient current. I have supplied power from a dedicated output of 300 mA for each C4 from a PowerPlant ISO-12 Pro.

I can confirm this. Two C4 pedals which I have currently for testing are occasionally freezing into being unresponsive. Sometimes it happens on initial power up, sometimes in the middle of selection of presets or editing. They then will require power cycling to become responsive again. I wonder...
