Having the same experience. Been over 3 weeks and no responses to emails to either address. I have ordered from them years ago and didn't have this issue. I also assume it was the move and Namm but they gotta at least write back.

C string sounds great. Slightly warmer and fatter than my other 6 string basses. I'd say that the large pole pieces under the high C do a good job at making the C sound more like the other strings in fullness. I don't imagine it would be a huge diff if it was just the standard two pole pieces...

Yes, I find the end pin stand far better in that aspect. I own both stands and almost never use the tripod because of what you just stated. My tripod is now just a dock for the endpin. Check it out on their website.

Thanks all, just picked it up for said price. It plays excellent. No issues with the truss rod at all. Definitely a radically different tone than I'm used to but in a good way. Very organic and dynamic. I have three gigs this weekend to dial it in on.

More than I thought was appropriate due to the refinish so I've talked him down to 1250 which sounds fair to me. Probably going to pick it up in a bit.

Yup, it sounds great. The pots could use a cleaning but that's it electronically. The neck needs a bit of bow taken out for my tastes but it is not twisted or cracked. I'll test the truss rod tomorrow. Just looking for as much help as possible on determining the originality of this bass and...
