I've got the K&K Rockabilly along with the K&K pre-amp. I like the pickup(s) and pre-amp especially the fact I can adjust the levels of each pickup and EQ them seperately at the pre before they go to an amp. I think Schatten make similar set up.

Yeah the Carvin only has 200KOhm impedance, so you need a pre-amp, which I have. My main concern is whether 200 watts (250 with extension) will be loud enough. I tried out the 10 and the 12 in the shop and found the 10 a bit lacking. The 12 seemed OK but I would like to try it in a rehearsal...
