I think 'I Ran' is a masterpiece. I know many people hate the song but I'm sure most of them secretly have it on their iPods. It's so catchy.

Dunlop all the way. I have Dunlops on all of my basses and six strings except for my acoustics. I've never had a problem with them. In fact, whenever I purchase a new bass, the very first thing I do is install strap locks if they do not already have them (even before a new set of strings). :)
