Thank you! I will be ordering my hlf and 3-pro on thursday! :) What tubes do you suggest? I work at a music store and we have groove tubes and mesa boogie tubes. Obviously i could buy online though. Will someone explain peak watts and ___Watt RMS?

I was definitely thinking about the terror bass 500 at one point but ... I think I'm more of an Ampeg type of guy. I'd buy one if I could find one for like $300 or super cheap haha.

Ok I like the 3 pro ... but now I'm thinking about the pf-800... Does it sound good at low volumes as well as high volumes? How does the MOSFET preamp compair to the tubes in the 3-pro? From the few things I have read, they HAVE resolved the cut out issue that was in some of the pf-500...

Would the pf-800 pair with a 410hlf well? I'm trying to decide between the svt 3-pro or this pf-800 (originally it was the svt 3-pro and the svt 7-pro). At low volumes does this amp still sound good? I need something that will sound good at low volumes, high volumes, p bass, jazz bass, upright...

Right now, I'm sold on the 3 pro! I don't mind the heaviness for now. If y'all know of anyone selling either of these: Ampeg 410 hlf or ampeg svt 3 pro. Tell them I'm interested and to message me. Thanks guys for all the suggestions/help.

guys, svt 3 pro, or 7 pro?

I'm reading reviews on musician's friend and some people are saying that the 450w is not enough ... but then others (and people on here) say the HLF pro-3 combo will have plenty of headroom. I don't want to be running at 9 or 10 all the time just to be loud enough

how reliable is the 3 pro for everyone who has one or who has heard people owning one? I want to buy an amazing amp and not have to replace it (if at all possible) for a while.

What is a V4 or V4b? And I don't buy new by the way ... only used.
