I have the opposite problem to Simon. I fitted the 2 point Supertone to my 70/71 slot head EB3 but I can't get the strings low enough and so the action is much higher than it needs to be. The spec says the min string height at the bridge should be 0.525 inches but it's actually 0.6 at the lowest...
