+1 on the a/b box. I use two amps in my guitar rig with an a/b box. Much less trouble, and fairly inexpensive.

I also agree with this. Go with the 200 watt 115 combo, then turn down if it's too loud. That way, you have plenty of presence and bass response, even at lower volumes. I once had a sound man ask me to turn up. I told him to turn it up in the PA, it was loud enough where I was standing.
