Hi, I was in the local studio the other day to try their Neve 1073 DPX. The moment I heard the sound of my bass through that pramp I knew that's it! So what is similar, cheaper and portable and would bring me close to that sound when playing live? Thanks for all your suggestions.

Hi TB, does anybody know how does MM SR classic (or preEB) perform with flat eq (bass 0, treble 0) in the mix? Does it lack the bass? I like flat tone but in live situation or in studion never tried. So is flat a "no go" situation? Thanks

Guys, last night on a gig sound from Ampeg b25b>JDX>PA system was really bad - too farty, distorted in bad way, nothing like day before I plugged from JDX to laptop (sound is in previous thread). I recorded it again today and sound is perfect! So my question is why sound on PA from ampeg b25b...
