Yea, i got it on my fingers after wiping off my upright. I may have been a little crazy with the rosin that day too, lol. I am thinking of making some rosin powder to use on my hands. Hell, there are plenty of sports where people use things for their hands. Why cant bassists?

I went to the local luthier yesterday. I have wanted a descent upright for a while. I broke down and bought a $2000 upright. I pick it up on Friday. I will post picks when I get it.

The only problem with finding a better deal is where I live. This part of California is like 3 hours from any other civilization, lol. It is very rare to see an upright for sale around here. There is a nicer one at the music shop for $1200, but I have seen the same one on line for $700. I would...

Yea, I have to agree. He uses scale patterns rather than hanging on the one and five. It's very similar to the way I play. I was previously a guitarist. :eyebrow:

I have been using the phaser with bass for a while now. It is actually a really good phaser imo. I am not usually a huge boss fan but this pedal is great.

Comp first. I'de put the ring mod early in the chain so it can get a clean signal. Any overdrives, distortion, or muff/fuzz at the end. I am not a big fan of modulation post distortion. Another fun sound is parallel effect chains. Like put the OD parallel to the ring mod. You would need a line...

The friggin music shop I ordered my PS-5 from is has taken about three weeks now and still no pedal. I wonder if Boss has them on backorder. I like to support the local music shops but I have been using musicians friend more and more lately. I cant wait to get my hands on the pedal though.
