Greetings TB'ers, Recentlly got a new-to-me Pedulla Rapture J5 , fantastic bass in every way but after changing strings to different brand/gauge, there was a bit of neck bow. I had known that 1) adjustment is backwards (clockwise for relief), and 2) the square nub requires an autoharp wrench...

I would own one already if it had more than 20 frets - minimum for me is 21, prefer 22 or 24. Great looking instrument though, enjoy!

Not perfect comparison, but I had a Berg Ref 210, and had the same thought of "rounding out" the tone with a Berg Ref 112. Something about the pairing just didn't sit right, it was loud but the tone wasn't "gelling" into a cohesive whole. Sounded like a thicker 112 tone under a crisper punchier...

Hey, right now it's a Nemesis 210 combo. At "only" 200 watts it's my lowest powered amp, so will experiment further. But some other higher-gain pre's don't have this issue, I would consider offloading it but I'm liking the tone (and HPF) too much.

Are you sending the 1/4" out of your Finally to your amp's front end, or effects return? When I go into the front, it's plenty loud (compounding my amp's preamp), but into the return it doesn't seem to have enough gain to push a strong signal unlike my other pre's into the return.
