I’m currently running a Bergantino HD210 (8 Ohms) at home, and to be honest, I’m deeply satisfied with it. It’s a magnificent cabinet ,clear, responsive, and musical.
Yet, here I am, restless. I have this lingering desire to push things further, perhaps it’s a search for a 'better' tone, or perhaps it’s just a beautiful obsession, a need to invest more time and heart into the thing I love most.
I’m contemplating adding another voice to the choir: A 112 or a 115?
I mainly use a GK Legacy head for now (though I have Aguilar and Ampeg heads, they see less airtime). I'm also dreaming of an EBS 802 in the future. Most of my playing happens at home, focused on practice and the intimate process of creation.
I’m looking for that extra dimension. Should I go for the focused, punchy clarity of a 112, or the deep, pillowy breath of a 115 to support my HD210? I am torn between the logic of "enough" and the longing for "more."
If you were in my shoes, chasing that creative spark at home, which path would you take?
best wishes!
