I have a SMD UA and love it. So much that I bought the handwired Smoke Screen, as its got essentially a UA, and then another channel of extra dirt. But there seems to be more love for the Dr Wattson here. I gather that runs 2 tubes all the time, whereas the SS runs 1 per channel. So is 2 tubes...

does anybody know if any of the Hipshot drop D tuners fir this bass, I am a bit dependent on them...
