Ok, I've re read your post and you are right.
I confused with my GT1000.
On the GT1000 you can because of the "Banks".
You go in one bank and then Can select num1, num2 etc...
On the CORE you don't have this option...
You must go UP or down with the patches...
Except if you go with midi...
Go with Line 6
If you know how operate a Line 6 unit you will be at home.
The Boss is very "Boss" so if you haven't operate a Boss unit in the past don't go there.
I own and have owned several Boss products and prefere them.
No you can assign anything you want anyway you like.
For the reverb yes you are right one block.
But you can assign and program a change of reverb on any footswitch.
It seems that yes... It's a feature...:bored:
But anyway I LOVE my Caprice !
The neck, the weight, the sounds, the rolled pickups edges (the edges are round, very confortable for the thumb rest), the stability of thz tuning, the look...
A P sound is always a won for me...
So I can't be objective !
But you could have made the Caprice sound a bit like the record (both pickups and tonality down).
Yeah a good P with a jazz neck it was exactly why I bought the Caprice ! (There was the Fender Duff Bass and a Japenese Fender with these specs but very rare). And I didn't want to buy a P bass and swap the neck...
Anyway...
My Caprice strung with the Labellas is a heaven to play !!!
And I am...
Do you think an EB bass could develop allergies to other brands ?:roflmao:
Let us know what you think of the Caprice with these flats !!
I love my actual sound and feel with the rounds EB 105 I have but I wanted some change in my life
Honestly I think you would regret if you sell ot...
It's more than I would ask for a bass...
I'm just gasing for a Jazz bass but I don't need it so... anyhow I don't see any reason to sell my Caprice as I am in love !
I'm interested in the hipshot too of anyone has done it !
I'm waiting my...
Yes... it's been a LONG time since I tried a bass that came close to the Caprice in terms of quality, comfort and build...
I was tempted on a Sire and when I tried it... The gap was too huge.
Can't I play cheap basses now ? Am I posh now ?
Such a great sounding bass !!
I had the exact same model but in Sonic Grey.
The pickups are awesome !
Neck only is good for old school stuff.
Both pickups with compression and a pushed amp is rock/hard rock heaven !
My amp was a modest Fender Rumble 100 (the "beer holder" for the guitarist on the right :roflmao:). I use the onboard DI of the amp to the front hall.
With a more "serious" band, I would use my Boss GT1000 as a preamp (infinite possibilities)
A nice concert at a country barbecue in France with the Caprice (Pop Rock)
I really love my Caprice ! It's been a year now and I still love it !
Honestly, it's the most confortable instrument I ever had.
Sometimes I would like a true "Jazz bass sound" but I am not at ease for resting my thumb...
