Depending on your phone, it might be easier to buy a USB-C to 1/8" audio jack plus a 1/8" to 1/4" cable. Something like this. I've never used this product, just using it as an example

+1 on the Bruce Thomas Profile or Yamaha BB-series basses. I was in your exact position last month and tried out some Fender P's... their build quality was only just OK. The Yamaha BBP34, however, immediately felt amazing when I picked it up. That specific model is about $300 above your price...

I'm curious if anyone has a link to a Mouser cart for a Nobelium build. I trust Tayda well enough for resistors and simple hardware but am not sure about their high voltage caps. I'm also curious about component lead spacing.... @Sushi Box FX is there any value for adding this to the BOM...

Thanks to TB, I've gotten interested in the quilter interbass. It has a nice collection of features and seems perfect for headphone or low volume playing. I wonder what else is out there, though, because I'm very new to this kind of DI or headphone amp apprach. Other than going to sweetwater...
