So how long does it take to get used to the wider 19mm BTB spacing after having an SR 16.5mm spacing neck? I just picked up a BTB1205 and I'm having a hard time getting used to the wider neck...

Anybody playing flatwounds? I need to get some new strings for a bas I just picked up ibanez btb 1205.. Needs a setup bad as well... Never set up a bass before, but the action is just right on the b string, but practically touchin the frets on the e and a strings.... Intonation is off as well...

Sorry to hear of your condition. Life changes can be....life changing. Used mesa walkabout scout definately keeps up with drums and guitars. Tubes in the preamp, 3 way paraetric eq.... Should be able to find used in your price range. Jim

Question for you BTBers. I have an old Ibanez SRX 505, bolt on neck, 2 band eq. Would the BTB 775 be a noticeable difference? I woud enjoy the 3 band eq. Would I get some more sustain? What else? Thanks

How would you describe the tone of Norm Stockton playing Salvation is Here? I would like to replicate that tone. I'm playing an Ibanez srx 505 and a Mesa walkabout scout that has a nice parametric eq to play with, just don't know where to start. Thanks
