For Sale 1968 Rickenbacker 4001 bass (checkerboard & crushed pearl)

I do love the sound. This is my personal holy grail instrument - the bass that I've wanted since I was 13 years old. By now I guess that's over 40 years ago... yikes, time flies. I'd keep this bass until I die if I weren't selling all of my basses.

For Sale Warwick Thumb bass guitar (1987, afzelia, wenge, zebrano)

Yeah, I originally bought this bass because I wanted the feel of the neck on these 80s era Warwicks, but when I started using these soapbars I discovered how much musical variety the ability to independently switch between single coil and double coil on each pickup brings. The ability to change...

For Sale 1968 Rickenbacker 4001 bass (checkerboard & crushed pearl)

I received a question about whether I have the thumb rest. Here it is... I don't think I have the mounting screws though. (Me: this is how i received it (uninstalled) and it wasn’t important to me so i never even checked to see if it fits.)

    SOLD N.O.S Jet-Glo Rickenbacker 4003-Rare

Even though that mini-essay at Wildwood Guitars is meant to sell instruments, I think it actually makes a really important point about the versatility of unique voices! Thanks for the link, and good luck on selling this Ric! : )

SOLD Turner Electroline fretted 5 string

Without ever intentionally deciding to become a "collector," since the late 80s I started buying Rick Turner instruments whenever I came across one that I liked - Electroline basses, Model 1 guitars and basses, etc. But now it's time to find all my instruments new homes, so I actually have three...

SOLD PRICE DROP: Fender Custom Shop Jazz bass (relic)

Thanks, tomshepp. I've never seen a Spitfire pickguard in person before. My understanding is that the maker uses modern materials to approximate the look of vintage materials. Has anyone seen one side-by-side with real vintage celluloid? It's so hard to get the feel of these kinds of things...
