I have to agree with a previous post. Using 3 fingers should help a lot. It sure did for me. It'll take a little while to get used to it but will be worth it.

Talk to the owner! Suggest that in your experience, no crowd shows up in those conditions, and if you play, he will lose money. You'll be doing him a favor.

I hung it up almost 10 years ago (I'm 72 now). After 45ish years, I got sick of getting home at 3AM or so. Still hit an open jam once in a while and play at home most every day to CD's. It works for me... I call it my therapy! LOL

Around here, it's the kids glued to their phones. I'm surprised they don't walk into a tree or stop sign. When we say hi, they barely make eye contact and mutter a barely audible hi. I'm so glad I'm not a kid in these times.
