Can I talk you out of the BQC. Its just nothing special, like the preamp that ibanez includes. You can also hook up the Ibanez stock preamp using EMG Quick connections, so no soldering as well. it saves you a coin or two. I would argue you cannot tell the dif between the BQC and Ibanez aside...

I have the ibanez wired now as a LHZ Active blend with the Universal blend as the pot. It loads the pickups at 1Meg Ohm, they sound more like EMG pickups with extended treble response now. I kept the ibanez as series only in BEQ3 mode as VM3 has a little less bass/treble.

Ordered the Ibanez BEQ3 preamp with a stacked mid/sweep and bass/treble pots. going to wire this up with my EMG Jv52 pickups vol-vol style as thats the only way a 9v will fit in the control cavity. this makes for a 3 band sweep mid preamp for $105.
