Alternatives to Bartolini B-Axis PJ set…

My new to me Clement bass was built with a Bartolini NTMB pre and B-Axis pickups. After a few gigs, I’m finding the tone a bit too dark and heavy. I’m attracted to a somewhat brighter, more articulate overall tone. Can folks recommend any alternative pickups that could get me closer to that goal?
