Is my friend a bad person?

Seeing that I've done similar things, I'd say "No" as I'd be a hypocrite to say otherwise. I'm retired and have a good pension. My wife is still working but will soon retire. I have a house full of guitars but like many, always GAS for another. I work the election polls in my state and am...

    LaBella flatwounds Hofner violin question

I briefly considered doing the bit with the fret pieces in the bridge but decided to let well enough alone. And yes, the strings are in tune with each other when playing harmonies.

    Hofner Ignition New Strings

I know this may have been done to death, but here goes. I recently acquired a Hofner Ignition Beatle Bass. I'm a guitarist but always wanted a Hofner. I recently had hand surgery(left) which made guitar playing quite difficult until my hand returns back to it's normal pre-surgery condition after...

    Hofner Ignition- Canted Tail piece

I recently acquired Hofner Ignition Beatle bass through ebay. It was a new item. It's fine. Plays well. No problems but recently noticed that the top of the tail piece is canted in a downward angle from the E to the G. At first I thought it was my imagination but it's definitely there. I also...
