    IMO: you definitely need at least 1(one) 4x10 cab (get a furniture dolly to aid in your schlep) for the larger gigs. Rule of sound #1: The more people in the venue, the more that the BASS GETS ABSORBED. I would leave 1 of the cabinets with full floor/stage contact to increase fullness...
