    iMac - what to go with for recording?

    You'll notice a huge difference in performance with an SSD. What you can do if you don't want to spend much extra is get a small ssd for your boot drive and use a regular hd for loads of storage space at a lower cost.

    Double Bass Glues?

    I use a product called bulldog grip from home depot to fix a lot of things. not sure how well you can get a small bit on headphones as it comes from a industrial tube like silicone. Might be worth checking out though. it sticks to pretty much anything.
