    F sounds like E

    New strings and set up by the Bass Place on my Kiesel Vader....when I finger a low F on the E string it sounds like an E. what the heck? any ideas?

    what is this

    this bass is a short scale with a wood bridge that came from a garage. serial # 5925 stamped under neck on body headstock markings unintelligable and someone tried to use glitter..see attachment pic thanks
