Stadium Elites are my brand. Particularly the stainless steel 45 - 105 standards altho I've never experimented with anything other than roundwound (they also do ground and flat wound strings). I found that Rotosound, Elixirs and Ernie Balls all give me blisters and the stadium elite standards...

I play bass to bring the thunder and to make people dance. Looks aren't THAT important. Well... At least to me anyway. I own a Sire M2 and it brings the thunder and makes people dance. Enough said!

Interestingly I've never held OR played a Fender, or in fact most of the big name bass brands with the exception of Warwick and Spector. Most of my bases have been at the bottom end of the scale; Squier, Yamaha, Epiphone, Washburn, OLP etc... That doesn't mean I've never hankered after...
