    Orange or Peavey?

    I am older and I like to pair combo amps instead of using large bass amps and cabinets. Should I use 2 Orange 1/15's or get Peavey's and use a 1/15 for the lows and 2/10's for the highs?

    I'm going to try an Ibanez EHB1000 4-string to lighten my load. I'm currently using a Fender Precision bass. I'm only worried about losing tone, especially bass tone. This model has Bartolini pickups and is active although I will run it through a Sansamp preamp. Is the sound "thin?
