    Double Bass Difference between Basses designed for Jazz and Rockabilly

    Other than the paint jobs and finishes, are there any major differences? What about pickups? I was thinking about whether or not I should buy a 'dedicated' rockabilly bass if I also play New Orleans jazz. Thanks
