Hi guys Want to improve my 16th note funk playing (Bernard Edwards type funk). Wondered if you guys concentrate on your right hand technique by making sure you only use your index finger on the down beat and your middle finger on the offbeat…??? like this: (all 16th notes)...

hi guys been trying to learn some funk basslines but i think ive either got a bad bass that has a stupidly wide neck... or my hands are too small (theyre not..) or its my bad fingering technique and i keep falling over myself on the fretboard... in what way would you guys play something like...
