    Ampeg SVT-CL USA made vs Ampeg SVT-CL Heritage

    Ok so I have a 2005 Svt-Cl and it sounds great. Just curious is the heritage pretty much the same thing as the older svt I have? I hear they use JJ's in the heritage and was considering changing out the old Sovteks in my svt to JJ's anyhow. Opinions?

    ok update!!!! I moved the power tubes front to back and back to front and see if the fault moved with the tubes. to my surprise I found a tube that appeared slightly cocked out of placed. I swapped the tubes and no more fault. no more bad noise and biased as should. I played for about 1 hour...

    thanks for the response jimmy I posted a pic the light is on just dull and when I play they both light up bright. Doesn't the bias pertain to the 2 12au7 tubes above the bias?

    How much did you pay for your first bass?

    1998 Squier P Bass with a Park made by marshall amp 150 bucks. I still have the amp wish I had the Bass. almost 20 years later and having maybe 10 other basses I now play a Fender P Bass. Funny how it went full circle.
