It works very well, it's an excellent solution. There is a gap of only 0.6 mm between the heel of the neck and the head of the nut. Maybe I'll need a washer if I put heavier gauge strings.

Thank you! I will look for a local lathe machinist, but it will be expensive for sure. In my case it's a pain in the ass to disassemble the pickguard every time I need to adjust the truss rod with the spoon handle I modded for this job. Besides, the neck is very thin and not very weather...
