    Hmm OK, thanks. It's more than likely I would replace the 15" than buy a new cab at the moment. I would like to splash out on a new amp but I'm on a fairly tight budget, hence the interest in the Portaflex series.

    Thanks for the reply. I had read some stories of people consistently blowing the 15 in the cab with higher powered amps. I think I may go for the 500w to be safe.

    The cab is designed as two 4ohm cabs when using bi-amping, or one 8 ohm at full range. (4x10 top, 1x15 bottom)

    Maybe a little wiser to go with the 500w Portaflex then? Definitely going to be running sansamp/darkglass. I was thinking the extra 300w would come in handy but I don't want to push the cab too hard.
