Just got the Subway D-800+. So excited for practice tomorrow. I already tried it through my two Markbass 4x10s with my Sire V7 5 string and it sounds way better than the Darkglass head I was using. I'll probably try my BTB MS 6 string tomorrow and see how that sounds. Glad to be back on team...

I tend to do this. Oddly the feedback is a lot better with my Markbass 4x10 than it was with the Darkglass 2x12. I get a lot more low end too.

If I can get custom guage extra long scale strings will there be a huge difference? I use Stringjoy.

I tried mine out tonight through my Darkglass amp and cab and X7 Microtubes and it feeds back a lot more than my Soundgear does since I have the distortion cranked. It's frustrating. I use a Decimator II but I can't find a good balance. Any suggestions?

I had to fiddle with the saddles and the truss a bit cause the first few frets on the higher strings didn't ring out at all. The action was set insanely low from the factory. Anyone else experience this?

New bass day!!

I've been using Stringjoy for awhile now for my multiscale and normal strings because they're custom guage sets, so I can order the exact size I need in extra long scale. Is there something else I'm missing here?

Pretty psyched to snag the 6 string version of this with my tax return. I'm hoping I can get this to sound good for my ska punk band and my hardcore band. So far most of my basses have been for one or the other.
