    Zoom B3 footswitch question

Thanks guys! I ended up buying both the vol/exp pedal and the momentary switch. For the price I figured I would just get both and experiment. I used the volume pedal for a few gigs then switched to the momentary for a few. I think I may go back to the volume pedal...

What's the best modification you've made?

Not a tone thing but the best thing I ever did as a gigging bassist was install Hipsot detuners on all my working basses!

The white edge is standard. I painted the truss cover white. It is black either “Epiphone “ in gold from the factory.

Thanks TBird! My wife bought me the white one for my 40th birthday last year, so I’ll be buried with that one. The ‘burst one just arrived on Thursday as a backup. She will be initiated this weekend!

May I be granted a number in this club that I have been stalking for many years? I submit for your approval my two Epiphone Classic Pro IV ‘birds. Changed the hardware on both to chrome and added bicentennial birds to the pickguards (born in’76 and I think the special bird looks awesome...

    Zoom B3 footswitch question

Hey guys, I’m a little late to the party but I just picked up a used B3. It does everything I need for light gig (no amp/DI) duties. Not thing I’d like is a momentary volume boost. Like for that one lick that needs a little bump. On my full pedalboard I’m currently using a tc electronic Spark...

Owners of multiple basses: anyone else do this?

The same thing happens to me. I have six basses that I gig regularly (my T40 doesn't leave the house anymore). Each one is a little different: a P with flats and quarter pounders, a P with dimarzio area Ps with rounds, a J with active EMGs (passive tone circuit) with flats, a standard MIA J with...

    Can you feel it?!

These Betas are killing me! I've got the black and cream and the germanium, now I need this thing!

SolidGold FX Beta fans...seen the new version?

I liked my cream and black beta so much that I got the germanium too! I feel like the OG is more of an overdrive while the Germanium is bordering on fuzz tones. Infact, it replaced my MXR bass fuzz deluxe on my board for that reason. When things need to get really dirty I stack them (OG into...

    Janky-A Rigs of Doom

But I like the bi amp route, especially with my Carvin's dual pre amps. I let the 10s sing, set the crossover around 300hz(?) and use the 18 for maximum gut punch! Still experimenting with the best freq for the xover...all depends on how it sits with the band.

    Janky-A Rigs of Doom

That's true. The guy I bought it from was actually just using the 18!

    Janky-A Rigs of Doom

I had actually considered doing that myself! But for now I will leave the monolith intact. I love the bite of the 10s but its the 18 that really brings out those deep dirty lows! And, Thank you!
