Yes, support any locals I say. I try do the same. It's amazing the journey you take with strings, some are amazing some not so. Warwick strings used to be okay, but they were hard on the fingers and wore quickly (in my view) I reached out to DR and they make good stuff! All depends on your use...

Yes mate, there's something about darker dense wood, active electronics, (especially humbucker) that stainless strings seem to "zing" with. I've actually not heard of Ken Smith may have to check them out. I just did a big order of DR Strings, using those and Ernie Ball now.
