Current Setup
Doublebass:
Chadwick Folding Bass w/Fishman Full Circle Pickup
strung with Spirocores

Bass Guitars:
Nordy VPJ5, Ice Blue nitro finish
Warwick Streamer LX 6 wideneck, stock MEC electronics
Fender Jazz with Warmoth lined fretless neck, Nordstrand NJ4SE's and a series/parallel mod
Chris Larkin Reacter custom 5B, Kent Armstrong pickups, Citronic preamp
Old crappy shortscale Ovation fretless acousitc, suitable for home noodling only, my first bass

Amplification:
Thunderfunk 550 (A) with Gold Chip
Mesa Boogie Walkabout Silverface x 2
Epifani ul410 series 1
Euphonic Audio M-Line Wizzy
GK mb-115

Preamps:
Tech 21 Paradriver
Fishman Platinum Pro Bass EQ
SIB Fatdrive (mostly for studio use)

Effects: None... If I try to buy some, please slap me and remind me that I don't need them. I seem to need that reminder from time to time. Still miss my old original POG sometimes. Mildly gassing for a good analog octaver for the fretless.

Non Bass-Related:
Washburn acoustic guitar (I forget the model #)
Banjo I torment people with (Banjo rocks)
Old piano that REALLY needs to be tuned
Acoustic nylon string "classical" Alvarez guitar
various other "novelty" type instruments, ie ukelele, fife, the obligatory casio sk-1 with cheesy portamento sound, etc.

Then there's the recording studio/PA stuff. The list is long enough as is so I think that I'll stop now. I really need to quit buying crap.
Favorite Genres
Whatever pays and doesn't make me question every life choice I've ever made while I am playing it.
Gigs and Ensembles
You pays, I plays.

Artists I've worked with include Jack Waters and the Unemployed, Jacob Flint, Jared Deck, Carter Sampson, Stoney Larue, Bo Phillips, The Damn Quails (original bassist for), Mallory Eagle, etc.... I live in Oklahoma, I've played a metric poopon of "red dirt"
Previously Owned Gear
Visualize me shaking a stick vigorously
G.A.S. List
Other than a fully carved double bass I am relatively GAS free these days. OK, I wouldn't turn down a lined fretless Rob Allen. Great there's the GAS flaring up for a lined fretless Rob Allen.
Influences and Teachers
I'm more influenced by the people I have played with than the people I've listened to passively. Most of those obviously aren't bassists.
Hobbies and Interests
Expensive whiskey, cheap women, and large caliber handguns

Signature

Chili without beans is hotdog sauce. I said what I said.
