That is my worry! I will be quite nervous putting on the new B string. Also agree with that I would really like them to work. Would like to evaluate them properly during a period.

I got a quick follow-up reply a day later, and they are sending me a new B string. They also asked me if I have a through body system for the strings, which I do. I am not sure if that is problematic or not?!

I got a reply from Dogal today, and they have forwarded my complaint to the tech department. 24 hours for first reply is good to me. Let's see what tech says.

Having a compressor after it could help with taming the volume, and evening it out between effect on/off. Do you use a compressor today? Cheers, Karl

Ok, so I only read the last part of this thread. Apologies if this doesn't suit the discussion. I use the Broughton H+LPF. It works wonders! As with compressors, I think the biggest point with high and low pass filters is how it affects the mix. How the bass and other instruments sound...

Easy! Look for a third one to cover all bases. ;)
