So it does clean? Every video I saw was total grit and metal. Do you run it with the power supply provided or do you have a chain?
Also, have you thought about changing the tube ?
Hi all. I know there are a bunch of threads for this subject, but having a little hard time trying to find what I'm looking for. If you know if a thread that touches on this question please post it
So, I've decided to go in ears strictly for a couple of churches I play bass at. One I've been...
Have you tried the di straight to the board? How does it sound? I'm on the fence on getting one. I'm going IEM for a couple of venues every week and want to run headless. Thought about this preamp and the VT bass pre. Also (extreme thought) the shift line Olympic MKIIIS
I know that the pedal has a -15db (or what ever # neg. Db) inside the unit. You have to open it to see. Look up the user manual on ampeg and see if it's engaged. That could be the problem
Here's a sound sample of one of the cabs. Sorry if it sounds bad. Sounds "better" through headphones rather than speakers from a device BTW.

oh, little FYI. I'm doing bed liner for the covering. I found it cheaper and a better alternative since I have not tolexed befefore... I would hate to make something look uglier :)
Any ways. Do not ever, and I mean EVER get the spray can of bed liner. I went cheap, and I got cheap. I think...
Got antsy and put together one of the cabs cart way to see if everything works. To my surprise it turned out way better than I thought. I forgot how warm tubes are. I couldn't crank it since it was 1:00 a.m., but I'll do it again in the morning before work. I want to thank everyone on this...
Double trouble!
Next step paint the baffle and grill frame. I'm doing a bed liner for the box. I have padding installed. Soldering is being a pain so that might be my achilles heel... Along with a number of other things ;)
But now it's just Legos. Stay tuned for my tears when it sounds awful
