Yeah Sounds rediculous. They were all warrantee so i had nothing to lose but time. I have 2 of the units so exchanging between the two added up. The two new ones i waited a year for makes nine. At this point i am disapointed but not really upset. Not sure if i should get after them...

Well guys, I hate to say it, but the problem persists. I am quite disapointed. I like the sound of the pedal, but will probably have to go with something else. More then a year and 9 of these units and the problem remains. It is not something fixable apparently. Ketch

Yeah, I dont think your donner should do that. I wonder whats going on with all this. seems quality on everything os slipping. Must be a sign of the times. Im hoping with the new run of Vox they will solve the problem. Ive gotten quite used to the pedal and really dont want to start over...

No there is no "Tick" In the sound byte, it cuts out on the 4th note. so it makes it sound like a double strike.

Does yours do this ?

Yup, Same here. Hopefully . . . They will correct the issue with the new manufacturing run. We shall see.

I have been told they are manufacturing a new run of these and they wont be available until august. Maybe they will correct the issue with the new run. I will let you all know when I receive the replacement unit.

Just a Little additional Info. I generally use the E and the A string for most of my music, with an occasional jaunt up to the D string. Usually when I want to get the octave i go up the neck on the E and A hence my question regarding consistency of sound. I tend to find the D string too...
